Description

Askos is the name of our project dedicated to the research, selection and valorization of the local heritage of native varieties. The wines are produced exclusively with grapes coming from particularly favourable areas in which the vine is trained following tradition. The symbol is an askos, a Greek “decanter” dating from the 1st century B.C.

The most interesting among the local white varieties. A wine which conveys all the potential this terroir can offer. It has a surprisingly good ageing potential for this type of white wine. We suggest trying bottles two/three years older than the current vintage.
